Two-seater sofa in Louis-Philippe style, Napoléon III period, circa 1850-1870, made of solid mahogany stained dark brown. Double medallion backrest structure, topped with sculpted crests in volutes and cartouches, typical of the Second Empire ornamental repertoire. Cabriole legs, slightly curved. Upholstered in pink velvet, highlighted all around by a row of gilded brass nails. The velvet is in very satisfactory condition, likely recently restored or very lightly used, with no significant visible wear. Dimensions: H. 93 cm, W. 70 cm, seat height 38 cm. Weight: 60 kg.
