Lobi stool, made of solid wood, unique piece

Four-legged Lobi stool made in Burkina Faso by the Lobi people. This is a traditional stool crafted from a single piece of wood. It may have had ritual significance and been used particularly for initiations or religious celebrations. This particular stool is a vintage model in excellent condition. The wood may show some movement in places, but its solid wood seat and four legs give it great strength and sturdiness. The stool weighs over 3.6 kg.
