American industrial design coffee table in wood and metal

Industrial style coffee table made by a craftsman in new york city at the end of the 1990s from reclaimed materials and specially designed for a loft in washington dc. Reclaimed materials that have already lived before their reuse have roughness, discoloration and other imperfections on metal (is it cast iron?) as well as on wood. Although 'industrial' in style, this characterful table has its own personality which distinguishes it from mass-produced objects. Note in the imperfections of numerous cracks in the wood which has been 'worked' which paradoxically gives it character in addition to its beautiful nuanced patina. As mentioned, the metal has chips, roughness and other imperfections. The approximate weight is probably under 100kg but it takes two people to lift the table.
