French workshop vase in pyrite stoneware from around 1950.

Glazed stoneware vase, probably made in the 1950s/70s. Slightly bulging ovoid shape. Narrow neck with flared lip. Glaze with effects and particularly nuanced: earth brown, rust, khaki, olive green... Variations in colour and small mineral inclusions, resulting from the firing, give the vase a very organic character. A particularly decorative piece that works well both alone and alongside other contemporary ceramics. Unsigned. In very good vintage condition, with some glaze irregularities inherent to handmade production.
