Small chest of drawers in rosewood veneer (19th century).

Charming small chest of drawers from the 19th century (Louis XV style) in rosewood veneer with its original brown marble. It opens with two richly adorned drawers featuring gilded bronze: two openwork handles and a beautiful keyhole. The locks are present and original, but there is no key. All the bronze fittings are intact, including the ornaments on the top of the front posts and the two feet that complete the elegant curved legs. It is slightly curved on the front as well as on both sides, and the marble is in excellent condition. There are small chips here and there on the veneer and minor repairs on the lower right side of the bottom drawer. However, nothing detracts from its aesthetic potential. With its beautiful and warm original patina, it has a strong and assertive presence with its wood and bronze, in charming proportions that will allow it to find a place in any room, from the bedroom to the living room.
