Exceptional set of 4 antique bistro chairs (1900 - 1915) from the famous Austro-Hungarian manufacturer Jacob & Josef Kohn. Authentic model, stamped with a brand and labelled under the frame (J. & J. KOHN HOLESOV), perfect for a characterful interior, a vintage dining room, a café, or an Art Nouveau period decoration project. In beautiful original condition. Stable structure. Superb patina (dark walnut/mahogany shade). The stamped brand under the seat rail ("J. & J. KOHN / HOLESOV") formally authenticates the manufacturer and the production site (Holešov, Czech Republic). Early 20th century (circa 1900–1915), Art Nouveau / Vienna Secession period. • Original thermo-formed wooden seats and backs with a beautiful floral/palmette relief pattern. • Period stamp and/or label visible under the chair rails. • Beautiful original patina with its natural wear that gives it all its authentic charm. • Perfectly stable, healthy, and solid bentwood structure.
