Vintage blue leather Butterfly armchair by Gerard van den Berg for Montis

The 'Butterfly' lounge chair, a Dutch design favorite, was designed by Gerard van den Berg for Montis and was first produced in the 1980s. The chair features a blue leather seat suspended from a black aluminum frame. The leather seat cushion is filled with foam and rests on a woven mesh that is attached to the frame. The result. A super comfortable and soft yet sturdy chair, lightweight and easy to move. The seat and frame are separate pieces and are both easy to transport.
