A genuine 19th-century carpenter's workbench, this unique piece has retained the spirit of workshops from the past. Its massive structure and dark patina, marked by decades of work, make it an exceptionally characterful piece of furniture. Features: Models measuring 2.5m do not fit into Parisian apartments or standard entrances; 186 cm is the "perfect size": monumental yet accommodating. Original elements: It features an imposing wooden screw vice (vertical press) that is fully functional and a tool groove on the top. Storage: A large low cabinet closed by two solid wood doors, ideal for discreet storage. Materials: Thick solid wood top, extremely robust and stable structure. Decor potential: Ideal as a monumental console in an entrance, a tradesman's piece in a living room, or transformed into a characterful washstand for an unusual bathroom. Condition: In its original state, treated and cleaned. The signs of use (notches, stains, old woodworm holes) are an integral part of its history and its 'Wabi-sabi' aesthetic.
