In this advertisement, you will find a beautiful vintage Baluch rug, known for its distinctive geometric patterns in dark red and black. It is hand-knotted using locally spun wool and natural plant-based dyes, including madder root for the rich red colour. It features bold and repetitive geometric patterns (often referred to as "guls" or "elephant foot" motifs) and tribal symbols in a rectangular central field and a border. The slight irregularities in the pattern are a sign of authentic craftsmanship. Made in Afghanistan in the 1960s. The rug is in very good vintage condition.
