Pair of wooden "jokari" rackets, basque country, chistera, cesta punta, jai alai, 1960. Jokari means "player" in the basque language. This game was invented by louis-joseph miremont in 1938 and it became popular in france in the basque country and in the united states in the 1960s. Length 42.5cm. Width 14.8cm.
