Brazilian handled bowl in jacaranda by Jean Gillon for WoodArt

Brazilian bowl in jacaranda signed by Jean Gillon, dating from the 1960s. This is model 102. A very beautiful expression of Mid-Century Brazilian design, where Jean Gillon favours organic shapes, fluid lines, and the natural beauty of wood. The jacaranda here offers a spectacular grain, with rich reddish-brown hues, contrasting veins, and a warm patina that particularly highlights the sculpting and shaping work. A great opportunity to acquire a collectible item that is both decorative and functional. In beautiful vintage condition consistent with the age of this item.
