Antique horn salad cutlery – shell decoration 1900

This superb antique salad serving set consists of a fork and a serving spoon. These utensils were intended for serving salad and feature a shell decoration on the ferrule. The handle is made of horn. In generally good condition, these utensils measure approximately 27 cm. Please note there are signs of oxidation and wear on the horn: there is a crack on one prong and a fissure in the horn of the handle.
