Louis XVI style fireplace in veined grey marble, adorned with original gilded bronzes: central plaque chiselled with a mythological scene, laurel garlands tied with ribbons on the frieze, and leafed pendants on the jambs. Period cast iron interior plate with diamond and beaded decoration. Bichrome base in grey and white marble. Sold with its original matching trumeau: bevelled mirror in sculpted stucco frame, pediment with laurel crown. Dimensions of the fireplace: L 135 × H 124 × D 33 cm. Dimensions of the trumeau: L 130 × H 154 cm. Total height of the ensemble in place: approximately 278 cm.
