Spherical in shape, slightly tapered at the base and topped with a small neck, this piece features a rich geometric decoration composed of friezes, stylized motifs, and interlacing patterns. The deep blue motifs, organized in horizontal bands, alternate between arabesques, triangular shapes, and small decorative elements, in the tradition of Fes ceramics. Fes ceramics are one of the most emblematic artisanal crafts of Morocco. Inherited from ancient traditions and Hispano-Moorish influences, it is particularly distinguished by its hand-painted geometric and floral decorations, as well as the use of the famous Fes blue, traditionally obtained from cobalt-based pigments.
