Ceramic lamp base

Stunning 1960s ceramic table lamp base. This ceramic piece has never been used for its intended purpose. These types of ceramic lamps typically come with an electrical fitting and a socket glued into the upper neck for a lampshade. The model we are offering is completely unused. If it had been used as a lamp, there would be traces of this. The hole for the cable is present. The ceramic is in good condition and shows no traces of glue, only small marks from the firing of the glaze. You can therefore choose to mount it as a lamp or simply use it as a striking decorative piece! It cannot be used as a vase because the top is closed at the first neck. The ceramic is black and silver-gray, with superb glaze work. Unfortunately, we have not been able to locate the manufacturer. Dimensions: Height 47cm. Maximum diameter 17cm. Top diameter 6cm.
