The upper section opens with two richly carved moulded doors adorned with floral motifs, scrolls, and bunches of grapes, topped with a remarkable central carved shell. The lower section consists of two belt drawers and two doors also decorated with carved designs. The scalloped lower rail is enhanced with a carved decoration that adds a lot of character to the whole piece. The panels are mounted with flat strips and framed with elegant mouldings. The fittings and lock entries are made of bronze. This buffet has retained all the authenticity and charm of its era with its beautiful original patina, highlighting the grain of the fir.
