"Important two-body buffet Louis XV Charolais in walnut, from the 18th century" Important two-body buffet Louis XV Charolais in walnut, from the 18th century, featuring a beautiful curved architecture and rich sculpted decoration. The upper part opens with two moulded doors, highlighted by wide, scrolled crosspieces and topped with a shaped cornice. In the centre, an inlaid medallion adorned with a stylised floral decoration adds an elegant decorative touch. The lower part opens with two doors and three belt drawers, including a central one, enhanced with brass handles and lock entries. The panels showcase beautiful walnut grains, warm and well-contrasted. The whole rests on curved feet, with a cut-out lower crosspiece. A characterful piece of furniture, with harmonious proportions, typical of regional Louis XV style, offering both great storage capacity and strong decorative presence. Period: 18th century.
