Turquoise glazed ceramic pitcher, with cobalt blue and green reflections, rare bulging shape, geometric relief decoration characteristic of the Rimini Blu series, designed by Aldo Londi for the Bitossi factory, Italy, 1960s. Rare compact and bulging morphology, less common than elongated shapes, enhances the sculptural character of the piece. Stamped Bitossi + Italy + embossed crest under the base. Beautiful shiny glaze, original firing cracks. An emblematic piece of 20th-century Italian design, a sought-after shape by collectors of the Rimini Blu series. Very good condition. Height: 17 cm.
