Space Age tulip round table by Maurice Burke for Arkana, 1960s-70s

Superb round dining table in the spirit of space age circa 1970. Model by the french-canadian designer maurice burke for arkana, made in england (cast stamp under the foot, see last photo). The tulip-shaped foot is made of cast aluminum painted in powder white (56 cm in diameter) and supports a magnificent laminated wood top with a satin white finish and an airplane wing edge (121 cm in diameter and 2.5 cm thick). Height 72 cm. In exceptional condition, perfect, without chips or scratches, either on the foot or the top, this refined, very designer table will suit all decors and can accommodate 4 to 6 guests... Not to be missed!!!.
