Antique ironstone cup from Sarreguemines, Kyoto polychrome model.

Small antique ironstone cup from Sarreguemines, Kyoto model, adorned with a very pretty polychrome Japonais decor featuring pagodas, vegetation, and landscapes. A particularly decorative model, typical of the Japonais taste of the late 19th century. The cup is not stamped Sarreguemines under the base but bears the number 45 painted in red. The decor and shape correspond well to the Kyoto model. Overall good condition: no chipping or crazing. Some minor signs of use and small losses of colour, particularly on the rim, visible in the photos. Height: 6 cm. Diameter at the top: 7 cm. Diameter at the base: 3.5 cm. Weight: approximately 100 g.
