Streamlined version of the famous Ulm stool designed in 1954 by Max Bill with Hans Gugelot and Paul Hildinger for the Hochschule für Gestaltung in Ulm. This example corresponds to the production developed from 1962 in the school's workshops. The particle board panels are combined with turned wooden crosspieces in a deliberately simple and economical construction. Used as a seat, side table, or small module, the stool illustrates the search for versatile and easily reproducible furniture conducted in Ulm. Edition: HfG Ulm, circa 1962.
