Vintage rare modernist design sewing stool set of 2, model PJ-SI-68-A, by Pierre Jeanneret for the mid-century Chandigarh project, India, from the 1950s–1960s period. Originally designed as part of the furnishings for government buildings in Chandigarh, this set of two stools features a distinct patina that reflects its unique history. The seats bear original inscriptions indicating their place of origin, enhancing their authenticity, with references to their use at the Punjab Secretariat Administration Office. Both stools are in very good, all-original condition, measuring 45 cm X 40.5 cm X 40 cm, with a seat height of 45 cm.
