The “Boby” container was stamped “Joe Colombo” in the bottom shelve. The modular and versatile Boby is a compact storage system made of ABS. As usual in Joe Colombo’s creations, the ideas of adaptability and multifunctionality take shape in this series of drawers, bins and wheels, reinforcing its modularity. The use of ABS is the result of the designer’s experimentation with plastic materials and techniques. And it is an extension of his worldview, in which he believed that the home of the future would be a fluid space, using different materials and interchangeable systems. The museum of Modern Art in New York shows this storage container in its collection. This item is in a good condition with normal wear marks and signs of use. Ref. 24-0360
