Minikitchen Minikitchen was designed by Joe Colombo for Boffi, it is a kitchen with wheels entirely in Corian®. It is an edition purchased new at Boffi about 15 years ago. The name Minikitchen already shows that it is a "pocket" kitchen that in a single cubic meter contains all the essential functions, from the preservation to the cooking of food, the kitchen includes everything necessary for 6 people. It is the icon of the brand thanks to its unique charm, Minikitchen has allowed Colombo and Boffi to earn a place in the most important collections of the best museums in the world, the kitchen also won the gold medal during the XIII Triennale di Milano in 1964. Although he died prematurely, his objects are still considered in the field of contemporary design for their function, aesthetics and technological innovation. Among his most famous achievements are Minikitchen by Boffi, the Multi-Chair armchair and Boby trolley for B-Line, the Fresnel, Globe and Coupé lamps for OLuce and the iconic Tube armchair, designed for Cappellini. For his designs he received important awards such as the Compasso d'Oro (1967-1970) and a gold medal at the Milan Triennale (1963).
