It is a piece of furniture designed for Parisian apartments, which were not large at that time but required storage. It is made of beech, a dense, solid, and durable wood. It features two doors at the bottom, two drawers with original floral paper in good condition, and two shelves inside. The original lock works perfectly. The patina, created in the traditional way with paints rich in pigments and then waxed, offers soft and bright tones of grey, pale bluish-grey, and white. The piece is in beautiful antique condition, stable and functional, with some normal signs of wear for a piece of furniture over a hundred years old. No signs of wood-boring insects have been observed. Ideal for a chic country kitchen or a dining room with a flea market spirit.
