Pair of minimalist vintage chairs "Pia" by Poul Cadovius for Royal Persiennen, Denmark

This set of 2 vintage Danish dining chairs "Pia" was designed by Poul Cadovius for Royal Persiennen in 1958. These minimalist "Pia" chairs are originals from the first series, made in the late 1950s and early 1960s in Denmark. Royal Persiennen also produced the first edition of the famous "Royal System" shelving system, also designed by Poul Cadovius the same year. The Pia chairs have a teak structure with conical legs and classic wooden joints. The backs are made of moulded teak plywood. Both chairs have original hand-woven cord. There are no labels or stamps on the chairs. Seat length 47 cm, height 73 cm, depth 44 cm, seat height 46 cm. Design moue CADOVIUS. General condition Good condition. Quantity Set of 2.
