Ceramic Lion Maxi by Lisa Larson for K-Studion Gustavsberg

Swedish ceramic Lion Maxi (Lejon Gigant) designed by Lisa Larson in 1964. This largest model (height 38 cm!) was manufactured by K-Studion Gustavsberg, the studio that Lisa Larson herself founded. The lion is part of the renowned Africa series, and each piece features its own subtle variations in glaze and pattern, giving these handmade sculptures their unique character. With their generous size and powerful, almost monumental appearance, they form a true eye-catcher in an interior. This copy is in very beautiful condition without cracks or chipping.
