He began his career with drawing and then with soft-ground etching, specifically etching in 1882. At the same time, he started a career as a director and set designer in 1886 at the shadow theater of the Chat Noir cabaret, enhancing performances by creating innovative colored sets. He then dedicated himself exclusively to painting and engraving, establishing himself in the history of etching, printmaking, wood engraving, lithography, and watercolor (he painted about a thousand watercolors). Our numerous photos allow you to appreciate the quality of this lithograph. For the condition, please refer to the detailed photos. Feel free to zoom in.
