Louis Philippe enfilade in elm

Buffet with 3 doors and 3 drawers, traditionally made in France in the 19th century. An antique piece in solid elm, assembled with wooden dowels, featuring simple and straight lines in the Louis Philippe style. The top is made from a single piece of solid elm, 30 mm thick, with rounded edges and softened front corners. It has 3 drawers of identical size, with the central drawer equipped with a functional lock and key. There are 3 opening doors leading to a large storage space. The left and right doors lock together, while the central door has its own lock. Attractive matching brass keyholes. In total, 3 locks and 3 keys are provided. Ample storage space includes a large mid-height shelf and a half shelf in the upper area. The shelves are sturdy, made from solid wood, 26 mm thick. The sides are simple elm without detailing. The solid base is covered in wood in the Louis Philippe style. A beautiful, simple, and practical piece, it fits all styles of decoration. The buffet is healthy, stable, and solid. The openings and closures are smooth, suitable for daily use. This antique sideboard comes from a lovely stone house in a small village in southern Aveyron, France.
