3-door walnut sideboard, late 19th century

This small solid walnut sideboard opens along the belt with three identical drawers with a cupped knob. They are equipped with two locks, one of which, the right one, simultaneously locks two drawers. Below, three mitered frame doors, darkened with a walnut burl panel, provide access to two compartments, each offering a fixed shelf. The chamfered uprights join a grooved plinth ending in sabot feet. The framed top, with a grooved corbin beak surround below, is composed of a well-joined panel without any composite filler element.
