Pernilla armchair with black straps by Bruno Mathsson, Dux, Sweden 1970

Pernilla armchair, design by Bruno Mathsson. Frame made of bent birch and beech wood in the style of Alvar Aalto furniture. The seat consists of crossed canvas straps. The straps are originally black, which is very rare. This armchair is a vintage edition from the 1970s-80s and is in very good condition. The frame bears the manufacturer's mark "dux". The cushion (headrest) has been remade in black suede following the original model. Delivered with a new sheepskin if desired. Seat height approximately 35-27cm.
