Large antique Imari porcelain dish

Superb antique round dish in thick and heavy Imari-style porcelain, Meiji period (late 19th – early 20th century). Hand-decorated with colorful floral and geometric motifs in shades of cobalt blue, red, green, and gold. The center depicts a floral bouquet surrounded by a floral frieze, while the rim is divided into panels alternating chrysanthemums, pomegranates, and traditional geometric motifs. The back is simple, with no visible marks, typical of antique export productions. The porcelain is heavy, with a beautiful sound. Impeccable condition, no cracks or chips.
