Ripley Floor Lamp #2

This piece from the Rippley collection by designer Tugdual Nomah explores the encounter between raw material and physical gesture. The steel is shaped using a manual piston bender from the last century, an old tool where each curve demands effort, precision, and rhythm. The contours, the socket is made of cast tin, where the pouring creates organic textures, visible traces of the fusion and a unique signature for each piece. The base, derived from a machined mechanical element, anchors the lamp in an industrial aesthetic. The light envelops the curved form and reveals a material that does not seek to be perfect but true.
