Mid-Century XXL Round Conference Table from Tecno, Italy, 1970s

This large round conference table was manufactured by the renowned Italian furniture maker Tecno around the late 1960s and early 1970s. The piece is distinguished by its minimalist, modernist form and impressive 160 cm diameter. The table features a round tabletop supported by a distinctive geometric aluminium base. Three broad sections of the base converge at the centre, creating a stable structure, while the combination of black surfaces and metallic details emphasizes the elegant, technical character of the design. Thanks to its generous diameter, the table is ideal for use as a conference table, a statement dining table, or a central feature in a spacious interior. Its form is characteristic of Italian modernist design from this period, combining simplicity with a strong architectural structure. The table has undergone comprehensive restoration. The surfaces were carefully prepared and repainted with a durable black semi-matt finish, restoring their uniform and elegant appearance.
