Mid-Century Modern High Stools K65 by Alvar Aalto for Artek, Finland, 2017, Set of 3

A classic design from the Finnish manufacturer Artek, based on a work by Alvar Aalto from the 1930s. Functional high chairs or bar stools for high tables. These icons of Scandinavian design feature Aalto's signature details such as curved legs and the distinctive shape of the backrest. The moulded backrest provides good support. A bar between the front legs serves as a footrest. The materials are made from birch in various finishes, from solid birch to veneer and moulded plywood. The high chairs are in very good condition with signs of use and patina.
