Mid-century modern lounge chair by André Vandenbeuck for Strässle 1960

Exceptionally beautifully designed lounge chair by André Vandenbeuck for Strässle International, Switzerland 1960. The frame is made of polished aluminium with a black enamelled recessed profile. The cushions are made of black leather and feature a sleek decorative stitching. The slender, clean open profile of the frame gives the chair a modern and timeless look. The chair is in very neat condition considering its age. The aluminium frame has very light signs of use. The leather is in very good condition. There is only one scratch visible on the seat cushion. Dimensions are as follows: height 73 cm, width 66 cm, depth 76 cm.
