Art Nouveau jardinière in gilded bronze with holly decoration, signed E. Gros.

Elegant oval table planter made of gilded and patinated bronze from around 1900, during the height of the Art Nouveau period. The composition, with its soft and flowing lines, features an openwork gallery adorned with a rich naturalistic decoration of holly branches, ribbed leaves, and berries treated in relief. The foliage is enhanced with a grey-green patina that harmoniously contrasts with the antique gilding of the body. The planter rests on four scroll feet. The piece bears the signature "E. Gros". Dimensions: length 30 cm × width 20 cm × height 10 cm.
