Pair of “Runner Chair” lounge chairs designed by Børge Mogensen (1956) and made by Fredericia Stolefabrik, with the original maker’s label present. The oak frame is clean-lined and solid, embodying Mogensen’s honest Danish Modern. Seat and backrest work through a sliding support system with leather straps, allowing the posture to be adjusted while keeping a generous, enveloping feel. Good condition. May show signs of age.
