Very beautiful vintage coffee table in veined white marble (Carrara type) and gilded brass, dating from 5th February 1971 (date visible under the top). The marble top is set into a pierced brass band with a beaded decoration. The base, inspired by neoclassicism, features tapered and fluted legs connected by a cross stretcher adorned with a central rosette, an emblematic design of French furniture from the 60s-70s. Due to the quality of craftsmanship, proportions, and decorative details, this table can be attributed to Maison Jansen, a famous Parisian decoration house, without any apparent stamp (common for productions from this period). The table is in good general condition considering its age. The brass shows a natural patina as well as slight signs of wear, consistent with a piece of furniture over 50 years old. The marble is in good condition, with discreet possible signs of use, without major cracks or chips. The whole is sound, stable, and ready to be used. 📐 Details: French work. Workshop date: 5th February 1971. Top: veined white marble. Structure: gilded brass. Style: neoclassical / 70s. 📍 Preferably hand delivery (heavy and fragile item). 📸 Additional photos available upon request.
