Thonet chair N°14-1/2, thermoformed wooden seat and optional reinforcements in the catalogue. This example dates from around 1900. Stable, ergonomic, space-saving and beautiful!! The 1/2 format (or Kleine Stühle/ "small chair") appeared in 1885 at THONET in order to optimize seating capacity in public establishments. Seat height: 46 cm - Seat diameter 38 cm - Total height: 86 cm. THONET label and stamp under the seat. Very good general condition and patina of use - original light walnut tone.
