Danish modern teak, oak and cane beds in Hans Wegner style, set of 2 1960s

This pair of Danish single bed frames was made some time in the 1960s. Crafted from teak, oak, and cane, it embodies warmth, precision, and timeless balance. They resemble especially Hans Wegner's design from the same period. Overall frame dimensions are H: 84 / W: 91 / D: 199 cm. These beds feature a minimalist silhouette with a sturdy frame showcasing the warm tones and rich grain patterns. Constructed with exceptional attention to detail, the joinery and transitions between elements reveal the craftsmanship for which Danish modern design is renowned. A unique feature of this piece of furniture is the combination of two types of wood—teak and oak—with contrasting woven cane. Its minimal design allows it to blend seamlessly with both vintage-inspired and contemporary interiors. The wooden frames have been cleaned and renovated with professional compounds to enhance the wood’s beauty. Please note that the beds do not come with mattresses.
