Antique plate – flute player (attributed to Desvres)

Charming antique hand-painted plate: in the center, a flute player in Breton costume in a decor of stylized flowers. The rim is decorated with a beautiful colored garland. All the charm of popular earthenware from the late 19th / early 20th century, with a naive rendering and fresh colors. Period patina (network of cracks in the enamel) and chips on the edge visible in photos; the whole remains very decorative, ideal for accumulation on the wall or in chic mismatched tableware. Handwritten marking on the reverse (workshop code attributable to Desvres). Diameter 21 cm Good decorative condition with wear and tear, chips on the edge (see photos).
