Small industrial chair, wood & metal

There are objects that arrive at the workshop with answers. And then there are those, like this little chair, that arrive with questions. A wrought iron and wood chair, entirely handmade, disassembled piece by piece to be gently restored. The wood has been sanded and then waxed again, without trying to erase what it has experienced. Because on the seat, there are these marks. Astonishing. We don’t know exactly what happened there… but we know that it matters; these marks are its story. It is lower than a classic chair. A bit unconventional. Perfect for a child's desk, for an adjustable workstation, or simply as a spare chair, the one you move around, adopt, repurpose. And then there is this metal base, graphic, original, which gives it all its uniqueness. The backrest also allows you to hang a bag, a blanket, a hat… or just one more story. This is not a demure chair. It is a chair that has lived, that intrigues, that interacts with the space.
