Collection of four blue Sommerso glass objects by Mona Morales-Schildt, Kosta, 1960s. A rare and striking collection of four Sommerso crystal glass objects by the celebrated Swedish designer Mona Morales-Schildt, regarded as one of Sweden’s most important glass artists. Her works are represented in major museums and collections worldwide, admired for their flawless execution, refined shapes, and rich use of color. This set includes: one larger bowl in a deep, dark blue with an elegant, minimalist form, 16.5 cm in diameter and around 7.5 cm high; two rare handblown signed Sommerso bowls, featuring nuanced variations of blue, each measuring approx. 11 cm in diameter and 7.5 cm high; one miniature “Ventana” vase, 8 cm high and around 5 cm in diameter, an extraordinary example from Morales-Schildt’s exclusive series created in collaboration with master glassmaker Bengt Heintze at Kosta, beginning in 1959. All pieces were produced at the Kosta glassworks in the 1960s, showcasing Morales-Schildt’s remarkable skill as a designer and glassblower. Condition: Very good vintage condition with only minor, expected signs of age such as faint abrasions. Overall beautifully preserved.
