One-of-a-kind Spanish Revival table lamp made from a vintage Fajalauza ceramic amphora from Granada. Hand-painted in copper green on a cream glaze. Fitted with a new green tweed silk shade and a matching green fabric-wrapped cord. Newly wired for U.S. Use. International plug customization available at no charge. Height includes lampshade. The base is a hand-thrown terracotta amphora from Granada's Fajalauza tradition — one of the oldest continuously practiced ceramic crafts on the Iberian Peninsula, with roots in the Moorish workshops of 16th-century Andalusia. Copper green pigment, derived from copper oxide, is hand-painted across a cream glaze in expressive, almost calligraphic brushwork. A sweeping scrolling band wraps the shoulder; further motifs run along the lower body; painted accents mark the neck and handles.
