Set of 6 dining chairs model CH46 and CH47 by Hans J. Wegner

Original set consisting of four CH47 dining chairs and two CH46 armchairs, designed by Hans J. Wegner and released by Carl Hansen & Søn. One of the most beautiful and timeless dining designs by Hans J. Wegner, where comfort, craftsmanship and simplicity come together in a unique way. The chairs are made of solid oak and feature the original hand-woven papercord. Both the woodwork and the weaving are in exceptionally neat, original condition. The set of four CH47 chairs was purchased in the late 1970s and has been carefully maintained ever since. The two CH46 armchairs were purchased later and both have a Carl Hansen label. The four CH47 chairs no longer have a label, which is common with older examples. The design, construction and finish are fully in accordance with the original production of Carl Hansen & Søn. Dimensions are as follows: height 79 cm, width 55 cm and depth 51 cm. Seat height 44 cm.
