Set of 4 Provençal dining chairs in cherry wood and straw – 20th century

Magnificent and rare homogeneous set of 4 dining chairs (or dining room chairs) in Regional / Provençal style, dating from the mid-20th century. These pieces stand out for the elegance of their lines: a slightly reclined backrest with three curved slats (very comfortable), superbly sinuous armrests, and a robust base connected by an H-shaped stretcher. Made from very beautiful local wood (probably cherry or a fruitwood), they feature a golden patina, bright and warm, which will immediately add charm and authenticity to your interior. Perfect around a beautiful oak or pine farmhouse table for a country house atmosphere, Provençal bastide, or "slow decor" spirit. Condition: Exceptional state of preservation for their age. The wooden structures are perfectly stable, sound, and solid. The traditional rye straw seating is impeccable: no broken strands, no sagging, a firm and clean seat with a very beautiful natural colour. Ready to be installed.
