A pair of decorative chalices in glazed stoneware, from the artisanal craft of Puisaye. Their flared bowls rest on tall turned feet, rhythmically adorned with moldings and generous curves, evoking the traditional shapes of ancient chalices. Against a slightly bluish white enamel background, two different plant compositions unfold. Natural tones of white, pearl gray, beige, and brown, with subtle variations, iron punctuations, and material effects. Under the base, a handwritten signature incised into the clay, which seems to correspond to that of Isabelle Delin, a ceramist based in Bitry, Puisaye (attribution remains to be confirmed but is supported by remarkable similarities with the artist's creations). Height 14 cm, diameter of the bowls 7 cm. A poetic dialogue between earth and nature for Puisaye stoneware.
