Magnificent trumeau mirror in gilded wood in the Louis XVI style. Period: 19th century. Openwork decoration featuring an oval medallion with two doves in relief on a black background, framed by an openwork laurel garland and topped with a ribbon bow. Beaded moulding on the frame, sculpted corner blocks, and acanthus leaf feet. In overall good condition, Beautiful original patina of the gilding, worn by time, giving it all its charm and authenticity. Original solid wood back panel.
