Charming oval mirror to hang in richly carved gilded wood. In the Louis XV style. Original gold leaf with a beautiful patina and a lovely visible red plate. Richly adorned with scrolls, pierced acanthus leaves, and shells in the pediment and at the base. Intact inset mirror. In good used condition, with original patina and slight wear from time that adds to its charm.
